Overview:
– Construction of 3m diameter 9mm deep pre-cast HDPE lined reinforced concrete pump station structure.
– Construction of new collection manhole, Valve pit and flow meter pit.
– mechanical fit-out of pump station.
– Trenchless (Micro-tunnel) construction of DN375 DICL rising main.
– Trenchless (Micro-tunnel) construction of DN375 PVC incoming gravity main.
– Installation of 1no. 55,000 L emergency storage tank.
– Construction of reinforced concrete car park.
– Demolition of existing above ground G3 pump station structure.

– Testing and commissioning.
– Live connection to existing sewer infrastructure

I’d like to take this opportunity to explain that in my experience over the last four years as a Project Engineer/Manager within the Central Highlands Regional Council I have very rarely come across a Contractor with the level of professional service delivered by Offaly Civil. It is a testament not only to the management of the company but also to their ground staff and personnel within their ranks as they each take their role within the organisation quite seriously and responsibly. The staff quite simply understand and are well versed in the knowledge required for the project installation, the type of operation and the expectation in all facets of project delivery, final outcome and aims of a project, which is clearly demonstrated from the top down and is a credit to the organisation as a whole.
