Gympie Regional Council has put in place a program to construct and operate reticulated sewerage networks in the local area to allow connection of existing residents currently utilising onsite treatment or septic systems.

Overview:
– Installation of 2.5 km of DN150 PVC reticulation Sewer Main.
– Construction of 54no. Sewer Manholes
– Connection of 89no. houses to trunk sewer line. Works involved de-commissioning of on-site treatment systems & hooking each individual resident to the newly installed sewer main.
– Liaison with council stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to residents.
– Bulk Earthworks & Site rehabilitation
– Testing & Commissioning

I’d like to take this opportunity to explain that in my experience over the last four years as a Project Engineer/Manager within the Central Highlands Regional Council I have very rarely come across a Contractor with the level of professional service delivered by Offaly Civil. It is a testament not only to the management of the company but also to their ground staff and personnel within their ranks as they each take their role within the organisation quite seriously and responsibly. The staff quite simply understand and are well versed in the knowledge required for the project installation, the type of operation and the expectation in all facets of project delivery, final outcome and aims of a project, which is clearly demonstrated from the top down and is a credit to the organisation as a whole.
