When Kia Ora State School reached out to the community for donations to their multi-draw raffle, we
were delighted to help.

The kids were thrilled to learn we’d donated vouchers for the local games arcade, and Tash had a special moment of her own when a mumma koala wandered past the undercover area with a little joey on her back.

It’s another reminder that small acts of kindness can ripple out further than we often imagine.

Mick and Tash had the pleasure of joining the Joey Scout group where they chatted to Group Leader Nat about the donation and what it means for The Centenary Scouts.

Nat expressed her gratitude on behalf of the group and said that the money would go towards a much needed new sign for the entrance of the scout den, something that will welcome current and future Scouts for years to come.

We love being able to give back to the organisations that help make our community such a special place. Supporting local groups, passionate volunteers and the next generation is what community is
all about.

SunnyKids is committed to being a child safe organisation where the safety, wellbeing and rights of children and young people are paramount.

They provide support services to children and families experiencing adversity. The team achieve this by working with health and education services and within schools and early education settings to provide:

* Crisis accommodation
* Transitional Housing
* Mentoring Through Sports (MTS) program in several schools across Queensland.
* Domestic and family counselling.. and so much more.

Tash & Garreth presented SunnyKids with one of our new OCE Giveback boxes and met with some of the team who were incredibly grateful for our contribution. They came away with a real sense of pride in what Offaly Civil do for the community and some added excitement to get involved in future events with Sunny Kids not only as supporters but also as guests.

The first of four race weekends has begun for the Offaly Civil Engineering Junior Race Series at Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club. With picture perfect Noosa weather and a huge turnout of around 23 boats, the first two races of the eight race series were a huge success.

To understand the strength of any sporting club, the first place to look is the grassroots, as this is the window into the future. Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club is bursting with young sailing talent, with current and future national champions.

This club is a perfect example of what can be achieved with a strong focus on the next generation of young athletes. We are incredibly proud and grateful to be able to help the club continue its amazing work with young sailors. The club runs after school sailing clinics most days during school term, catering to all levels, from beginners who’ve never set foot in a boat to experienced dinghy sailors sharpening their skills in the high performance squad.

We are extremely Proud to present our June OCE Giveback recipients ‘LIVIN’. LIVIN exists to create a future where suicide is no longer the number one killer of young Australians.

1 in 5 people will experience a mental illness each year. Many suffer in silence due to the stigma and lack of education around mental health. LIVIN is helping change this by equipping young Australians with essential education, bolstering their mental health and resilience.

Through advocacy and community engagement, they raise vital awareness and funding to ensure their life-empowering programs can reach and engage as many Australians as possible.

They educate, motivate and advocate!
